Decommissioning of iMail Email Service by end of 2016
As the iMail email platform adopts legacy technology and obsoleting equipment, it is no longer effective for ITSC to maintain this service. Therefore, the iMail email platform will be de-commissioned at end of December 2016 and iMail users are advised to switch to @Connect Service at your earliest convenience.
Since the launch of @Connect – Lifetime Email Service at 2014, vast majority of students have already switched over to the Microsoft Office 365 cloud platform. After switching to @Connect, you may start enjoying the Microsoft Office 365 collaboration tools, as well as a lifetime email address “<account name>@connect.ust.hk” for better continuity and staying in touch with friends and HKUST after graduation.
