Setting up Apple iOS Device to Access eduroam Wi-Fi

This page provides sample instructions for HKUST Staff & Students to set up Apple iOS devices to connect to eduroam Wi-Fi.

Configure and Access eduroam Wi-Fi

Step 1: Bring Up Wireless Network Connection Menu

  1. Select Settings > Wi-Fi in home screen

  2. Change the option of Wi-Fi to ON

  3. Select eduroam

Step 2: Enter User Name and Password

  1. Enter your ITSC Network Account with "@ust.hk" or "@connect.ust.hk" in Username field

  2. Enter your ITSC Network Account Password in Password field

  3. Select Join

Step 3: Verify Certificate

  1. Make sure Thawte TLS RSA CA G1 and wireless.ust.hk are shown

  2. Click Trust

Congratulations! You have connected to eduroam Wi-Fi!
