Another chance to join @Connect Pilot Test and Win Asus Transformer Book T100 Windows Tablet

Dear Students,

Further to the email I’ve sent to you in early January 2014, I am pleased to inform you that @Connect – Students Lifetime Email Service will be launched on 18th March 2014. Please stay tuned to our updates.

Just to re-cap, @Connect is based on Microsoft’s Office 365 cloud solution and will offer you a set of collaboration tools including email, calendaring, document authoring and other social networking functions. With @Connect, students can retain their @Connect email address after graduation for better continuity and stay in touch with friends, as well as enjoying goodies like downloading Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to your own PCs/Macs/Smart devices.

Thank you for the overwhelming response in the 1st batch recruitment of Early Adopters for the @Connect pilot testing. If you have missed the chance to become an Early adopter, I would like to invite you to participate in the second round of recruitment for 300 pilot users. The Early Adopters will need to attend a half-hour briefing session on either 18th or 19th Feb 2014, use the system, and complete an online survey after two weeks. An optional training session delivered by Microsoft will be available to help you get started on Office 365.

As a gratitude to participation, the Early Adopters will receive a backpack and enter a lucky draw of an Asus Transformer Book T100 Windows Tablet (sponsored by Microsoft Hong Kong Limited). The Early Adopters may also participate in a research survey sponsored by Tongyi Industrial Group Center for E-Commerce and receive $50 as a token of appreciation. To submit your application, please click here before Monday (10th Feb) day end. Successful applicants will receive email notification from ITSC on or before Monday (14th Feb).

Should you have any queries, please do drop us an email at cchelp@ust.hk. We look forward to your participation!

Best regards,

Theresa Lo
