Upon the successful completion of graduation/course requirements as determined by the Academic Registry Office (ARO), the ITSC Network Account for students will undergo an automatic transition to an Alumni account. Notably, graduating students will have the privilege of retaining their @Connect email account, which will continue to offer select Microsoft O365 features throughout their lifetime. By utilizing the ITSC Network Account for Alumni, graduates will also have the opportunity to register and become members of the esteemed HKUST Alumni Association.

Transforming from Student Account to Alumni Account
Graduates can continue to use the lifelong @connect email address (i.e. @connect.ust.hk) and Microsoft Office 365 services (including Office Online, OneDrive for Business), but the license for local installation of Office 365 apps would be revoked upon graduation, services entitlement is changed as follows:
- If you have installed Office 365 apps, you can continue to use the reduced functionality mode (read only) or use Office Online for edit of Office documents.
- Email quota will be reduced to 50GB.
