Protecting Microsoft Office Files
Microsoft Office comes with a password encrypting function to protect Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentation files. This is a handy tool for preventing unauthorized access. Visit the following webpage for further details and instructions.
Notes:
- Keep your passwords properly as there is no way to retrieve forgotten passwords or otherwise open these files.
- Check out tips on creating a strong password to ensure strong encryption.
- Office 365, Microsoft Office 2016 or 2019 is recommended.
- Only one file can be encrypted each time.
