Announcement of Foxit PDF Editor for HKUST Students

In response to ITSC survey feedback requesting easier access to a convenient PDF editing tool, HKUST has made Foxit PDF Editor available for students to download and use on their own Windows or Mac computers. Previously, Foxit PDF Editor was only accessible on Virtual Barn.
 
Foxit PDF Editor enables users to create, merge, rotate, reorder, delete, and split PDF documents, as well as create and fill forms. Its features are very similar to those of Adobe Acrobat Standard, making it a great alternative for your PDF editing needs. There is also an online version which can be used on browsers.  License activation is straightforward and provision via Single Sign-On (SSO) using your HKUST account. We also have plans to install it in all Computer Barns before the Spring Semester begins.
