IT Services Resume Normal After Power Failure

The power supply to the campus data center was interrupted in yesterday evening (23 July).   With help from FMO and CLP, the cause was identified to be related to a leakage near LG1 restaurant and some time is needed for full remediation.

The IT infrastructure core services (including campus network and telephone service) have been restored gradually since early this morning.  Other than the affected locations currently with no electricity supply (e.g. LT-A, classrooms 1103/1104, Computer Barn B), all IT services have resumed normal, as of this afternoon 2:00pm.
